About Arts Alive

Arts Alive Festival, a 14-year old brand, is an annual event that takes place in Johannesburg during the month of September.
Branded and marketed as a spring event, it has traditionally showcased a mix of activity – music concerts, dance, exhibitions and theatre.
The City of Johannesburg has been the main sponsor and key stakeholder for this event, which has shown that it has huge potential and capacity to expand and grow as the premiere cultural event in both global and local terms.
Zanusi, has hosted 34 events in 22 venues featuring, 294 Local Artists and 164 International Artists
